Summary

After conducting exploratory user research with design probes, invite the same participants to first 'validate' your analysis and then allow them to experience and give feedback on early prototypes in a group session

Description

Present probe results. Discuss and collect feedback to 'validate' them. Introduce prototypes. Allow people to individually interact with them. Collect feedback. Questionnaires to collect rank data on preference on several prototypes.

Strengths

the session allows 2 important processes to take place: 1 validation of probe results, 2 early evaluation of prototypes

Weaknesses

the existence of early prototypes based on the findings of the probes is only possible through implementation before the actual validation of the probe results
